Our families are our #1 priority at Blast Off Children’s Therapy Services! We want everyone considering Blast Off as their therapy home to know that we truly love what we do and care about the children we serve and their families! We live by our Mission Statement: “To Provide High Quality Pediatric Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy in a fun, supportive, and family focused environment.” From the minute you call and talk to our friendly office manager, Mary, or walk into our colorful and fun clinic full of pictures of rockets, planets, and stars, we want you to feel comfortable at Blast Off knowing that your questions will be answered and your needs will be met.
Blast Off Children’s Therapy Services opened in July 2012 as a Pediatric Speech-Language Therapy private practice in San Diego. It was founded by LuAnn Lower, a speech and language pathologist, who had a vision of Blast Off growing one day into a multidisciplinary pediatric clinic in one convenient location. That vision was quickly realized in June of 2013 when Blast Off moved into a large clinic in our current Miramar location just minutes from MCAS Miramar and the 15 freeway. We added Occupational Therapy to our services in October 2013 followed by Physical Therapy in January 2014. Blast Off makes it convenient for families who need to access multiple therapy services. We do our very best to schedule therapies back to back if requested and also offer members of the same family sessions on the same day if possible. We strive to make coming to therapy easy and fun! Our clinic is fully equipped with evidence based and state of the art assessments and therapy equipment. Your child will love playing with all of the toys, swings, balls, tunnels, etc. while growing, developing, and learning new skills!
Blast Off offers comprehensive speech-language, occupational, and physical therapy evaluations and individualized treatment plans for children from birth to 18 years of age. Our experienced therapists have expertise in early intervention as well as diagnoses including but not limited to the following: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Delay, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and a wide range of other Developmental, Neurologic, and Genetic Disorders.
All of our therapists are highly qualified professionals, are fully certified to practice in their professions, and are licensed by the state of California. All therapists have a Master’s or Doctoral Degree. Blast Off Therapists and front office staff work together as a team to provide the best possible services for our families.
